Strike Fighter Squadron Fourteen (VFA-14), also known as the ‘Tophatters’ is a United States Navy strike fighter squadron based at Naval Air Station Lemoore in California. The ‘Tophatters’ is an operational fleet squadron flying the Navy’s most advanced multi-role fighter the Boeing F-18E Super Hornet.  The squadron is currently deployed onboard the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) in the Persian Gulf.
