From Herpa Wings’ New Generation Series is this Boeing 757-200 in Britannia Airways livery, registration G-BYAO. In 2001, Thomson Holidays, the holding company of Britannia Airways was taken over by TUI. Since then, TUI has changed the liveries of no less than six airlines to the ‘World of TUI’ corporate identity. The original aircraft for this model was put into operation in February 1994.

Although not released in official limited editions, Herpa Wings models are only released for a very limited period of time making the models highly sought after by collectors.
