It has taken quite a while for Herpa to release a new Air France plane in the 1:500 scale. Herpa is pleased to present the Boeing 747-428 of the French national airline in the highly-detailed New Generation version. The original of this Wings model, registration F-GITE, entered service in 1992, and is one of 38 Boeing 747s of the -200, -300,and -400 series operated by the airline.
