A finely detailed Ilyushin IL-62 in the colours of Russian national carrier Aeroflot. Featuring all the refinements one expects from Herpa, including Tampo printed livery and accurate aircraft modelling and detail.
With a total of 116 IL-62 and IL-62M jets, Aeroflot built up a remarkable long haul network as of 1967. The original CCCP-86671 was one of the first of them, and was used to launch Aeroflot's prestigious Moscow-New York route on July 15, 1968.
