The first airplane of this type was delivered in February 1999, and the last of the current batch isn’t due until 2016. The 737 will replace older MD- 82s as well as 757-200s. The original of this model, with the registration N974AN, was leased from the leasing company GECAS. All the die-cast aircraft from the Herpa Wings range are made to an exceptionally high standard, both in terms of the detailed Tampo printed liveries and the quality of the construction.
