Almost twenty years have passed since the foundation of American Airlines regional flight subsidiary, American Eagle and with more than 300 airplanes, it has itself become one of the world‘s big airlines. The huge fleet‘s flagship is the CRJ-700ER, of which a total of twenty-five will be operated by mid-2004. The original of this model, registration N500AE, was the first Bombardier plane ever registered for American Eagle. All the die-cast aircraft from the Herpa Wings range are made to an exceptionally high standard, both in terms of the detailed Tampo printed liveries and the quality of the construction.
