Featuring all the refinements one expects from Herpa, including Tampo printed livery and accurate aircraft modelling and detail. In 1984,entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson founded the very successful Virgin Atlantic Airways. The low-cost airline Virgin Express emanated from the Belgian Euro-Belgian Airlines founded in 1991. It co-operated with the former Belgian national carrier Sabena and after its bankruptcy, with the successor SN Brussels Airlines, but operates its fleet, consisting of eleven Boeing 737s, mainly under its own identity. The original of this model with the registration OO-VEX is one of the very few examples of the –300 series to be equipped with winglets. The model is limited to 1,000 items. All the die-cast aircraft from the Herpa Wings range are made to an exceptionally high standard, both in terms of the detailed Tampo printed liveries and the quality of the construction.
